摘要：在過去的幾十年歷程中，中國經(jīng)歷了一場漫長的現(xiàn)代化之路，在全球化的浪潮下，修起了越來越多的重大標志性的建筑。城市舊城改造的的聲音也此起彼伏，我一方面為中國城市建設的進步而高興，一方面有隱隱擔憂，思考我們是不是應該停下匆匆的腳步，回頭望望走過的路徑，靜心反思，思索如何才能找到適合自己的、城市地域性設計？如何才能在城市化建設的道路上傳承文化，相對于民族風格大而說之的概念，是不是更應該強調(diào)每一個地區(qū)，每一處環(huán)境更具體的特色？對于這種地域性有兩點需要把握，一是環(huán)境的概念，就是我們生活的這邊土地，氣候的變化，環(huán)境的污染，河流的變遷，資源的消耗都和建筑密切有關，所以，我們不能忽視地域性環(huán)境的作用，其二是文化的概念，就是生長在這片土地的文化，他有著五千多年的歷史，又呈現(xiàn)今日的現(xiàn)代生活，所以文化不應該只是一種裝飾符號，一種表現(xiàn)手法，更應該注重其內(nèi)涵，發(fā)掘其更深層的文化積淀。更應該在對歷史文化傳承的前提下發(fā)展和創(chuàng)新。研究其所生發(fā)的環(huán)境。將地域性文化中的社會因素，人文習俗，信仰，自然環(huán)境等諸多因素綜合考慮，我們就能從本土找到極其豐富的若隱若現(xiàn)的文化資源，從中吸取營養(yǎng)，運用于設計中，讓今天的本土設計注入真正的文化基因。而這次的畢業(yè)設計，就是圍繞著重慶本土的地域性文化特色為主，研究和探索這一地域性的文化特色，讓城市重新找回自身的特色，讓人們重新找到自己的認同感。 關鍵詞：舊城改造，地域性特征、本土文化、商業(yè)空間
