中式室內(nèi)設(shè)計的風(fēng)格是以宮廷建筑為主的中國古典建筑室內(nèi)裝飾設(shè)計風(fēng)格，它所主要強(qiáng)調(diào)的就是氣勢的恢弘，讓人覺得金碧輝煌，中式風(fēng)格對造型和裝飾物品講求一個對稱美，裝飾的材料多選用木材為主。中國在29世紀(jì)末，隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，國外的新式思潮不斷的涌進(jìn)中國，慢慢的讓我們中國人開始用中國文化的角度出發(fā)開始審視我們所面對的新式思想和事物，伴隨著這些事物的發(fā)展，逐步的中式風(fēng)格的設(shè)計慢慢的開始被一些設(shè)計師接受并且融入自己的設(shè)計中去。在二十世紀(jì)處中國慢慢的就有了中式風(fēng)格設(shè)計的復(fù)興趨勢。中式風(fēng)格在空間上要講求層次感強(qiáng)烈，很多的運(yùn)用到了實(shí)木做出的結(jié)實(shí)框架來劃分空間，屏風(fēng)式出現(xiàn)最多的一種劃分方式，這上面的圖案都帶有古樸的味道。門和窗都是中式風(fēng)格一個必不可少的組成部分，上面都會有方格狀或者其他樣式的傳統(tǒng)中式圖案所做出的各種造型。
