摘要：本文介紹了局域網(wǎng)聊天系統(tǒng)的現(xiàn)狀,存在的問題以及未來開發(fā)的目標(biāo)；服務(wù)器和客戶端的實(shí)現(xiàn)，包括了系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)的目標(biāo)、總體設(shè)計(jì)、需求分析、詳細(xì)設(shè)計(jì)以及系統(tǒng)實(shí)現(xiàn)的相關(guān)內(nèi)容。相對于傳統(tǒng)通過手機(jī)，電話的聊天，局域網(wǎng)聊天以其獨(dú)特的通訊方式也逐漸被人們所熟知。 首先，本系統(tǒng)的好處是顯而易見的，它不用付太多的費(fèi)用，就可以實(shí)現(xiàn)與好友聊天，這都是其他通訊工具所不能比擬的，還可以實(shí)現(xiàn)資源共享，互傳。其次，用戶群多，這也是很多人選擇本系統(tǒng)來實(shí)現(xiàn)通訊的原因。當(dāng)你生活困倦了，或者想認(rèn)識一些新的朋友，都可以通過它來實(shí)現(xiàn)。 Visual Basic作為一個面對對象的語言，以其多元化的控件來實(shí)現(xiàn)網(wǎng)絡(luò)通訊，其簡單方便的開發(fā)模式，強(qiáng)大的功能，和跨平臺的優(yōu)勢成為很多編程者的開發(fā)工具，被認(rèn)為功能和操作性綜合評價最高的開發(fā)工具，其獨(dú)特的面對對象，在運(yùn)行速度，安全性，可移植性均比傳統(tǒng)的開發(fā)語言有很大的改進(jìn)。 關(guān)鍵詞：VB；聊天管理；Socket；服務(wù)端；客戶端
